I am a real father who developed this invention for my own two young children. Like most parents, I have struggled with all the various sun shields on the market today. I found the static vinyl products lost their adhesive qualities quickly, got very dirty and were too thick to allow the windows to be rolled down. They eventually took on the appearance of a bubbled mess on my car window.

One day I actually caught my kids peeling it off and rolling it into what looked like a giant wad of gum. The suction cup shades I tried kept falling off, and I still couldn't roll my windows up or down. These parts also ended up in my children's inquisitive hands, creating a potentially dangerous choking hazard. Frustrated, I knew there had to be a better way.

I decided to combine my engineering background and profession in the printing business to develop a product that addressed the shortcomings on the market today. I am proud to have created a rigid film with a unique hybrid adhesive that has some very special properties indeed. This is clearly one of those products that makes more sense than what is available.
